Proposed interim improvements to the Riverhead-Coatesville Highway-SH16 Intersection

The proposed interim improvements to the Riverhead-Coatesville Highway-SH16 Intersection include the following changes:• Temporarily banning right turns from Coatesville/Riverhead Highway onto SH16• Redirecting traffic to use Old Railway Rd and Old North Rd and the Taupaki roundabout to safely turn right onto SH16 See the late June Report and Late July summary links below.NZTA is still considering community feedback alongside technical assessments in order to make a decision on the interim solution. So no final decision on an action to be taken as yet.Stage 1 between Waimauku and Kumeū• Update on stage 1: The notice of requirement for Stage1 is currently under appeal. This means that this sectionof the project is on hold until this is resolved.• Stage 2 which runs between Kumeū and Brigham Creek• Update on stage 2: Site investigations are currentlyunderway and will inform the design.
